How It Works

Design a travel business that’s uniquely yours - with magical support along the way.

At Reach for the Magic Destinations, we know that no two travel advisors are exactly alike. That’s why we offer a supportive environment that honors your independence while equipping you with the resources to grow confidently and intentionally.

As an Independent Contractor (IC), you're in business for yourself, but never by yourself.

What It Means to Be an Independent Contractor

When you join our team, you’re not an employee - you’re a business owner. That means:

  • You set your own schedule

  • You choose the clients and types of travel you want to specialize in

  • You decide how much time to dedicate to your business

  • You manage your earnings and expenses

  • You are responsible for your own business development and compliance

We’re here to offer guidance, tools, training, and support, but the direction and effort are yours to lead.

What You Can Access Through Our Agency

As part of our IC team, you’ll have access to:

✅ Planning Tools – including CRM and access to quote templates, email scripts, and workflows
✅ Supplier Relationships – through our partnerships and preferred vendor programs
✅ Training & Professional Development – from onboarding to advanced supplier education and beyond
✅ Marketing Support – branded assets, suggested social content, guides, and shareables
✅ Agency Community – virtual team chats, shoutouts, celebrations, and collaborative energy
✅ Optional Client-Facing Branding – leverage the Reach for the Magic Destinations identity or build your own

These resources are available to support your journey, but how you use them is up to you.

What Can a Day in the Life Look Like?

Because every advisor's business is different, here are a few examples of how different advisors may choose to structure their time:

💫 The Part-Time Builder

  • 1–2 hours per day researching quotes and responding to emails

  • Evening calls with clients

  • Weekend time for marketing and professional development

  • Works toward long-term growth with flexibility

✨ The Niche Specialist

  • Focuses on a specific destination or travel style (e.g., Disney, cruises, group trips)

  • Builds deep relationships with preferred suppliers

  • Creates tailored marketing content around their niche

  • Balances bookings with personal travel and content creation

🌟 The Full-Time Dreamer

  • Treats the business as their primary income source

  • Manages multiple client trips at once

  • Schedules focused work blocks for planning, communication, marketing, and networking

  • Invests in continuing education and automation to scale

There’s no one “right” way to build your travel business here; we’re here to help you design the one that fits your life best.
