Hi, I’m Katie (she/her)! I’m based in the northwest suburbs of Chicago, where you’ll usually find me with my Blue Heeler/Rottweiler mix, Flynn, and dreaming up the next great vacation ✨

By day, I work full-time as an Audiology Assistant in a Special Education Cooperative, and I’ve spent the past 15 years working in the Special Education field—primarily within the Deaf/Hard of Hearing and Autism communities. I’m fluent in American Sign Language, a Certified Autism Travel Professional, and a proudly neurodivergent individual myself. Accessibility isn’t just something I’ve studied or worked in — it’s something I live every day.

Travel has been a lifelong passion of mine. From my very first trip to Walt Disney World at age five to countless visits to Disney and Universal destinations over the years, planning vacations has always been my happy place. I’m the person friends and family turn to when they want help booking a trip, building an itinerary, or even just dreaming up “someday” vacations — and I truly love every part of the process.

What makes my approach different is that accessibility is my superpower — but helping people create unforgettable vacations is my joy. I believe everyone deserves a trip that feels exciting, stress-free, and tailored to their needs, whether that includes accessibility accommodations or not. My goal is to meet each client exactly where they are and help them feel confident, supported, and excited every step of the way.

Through my brand, Magical Accessibility, I focus on helping travelers navigate accommodations, understand their options, and feel empowered when planning their trips. While accessibility is close to my heart, I proudly book travel for everyone — families, couples, solo travelers, first-timers, seasoned travelers, and anyone who wants their vacation to feel truly amazing.
