My Stay at Disney’s Contemporary Resort

My Stay at Disney’s Contemporary Resort

Staying at Disney’s Contemporary Resort was such a treat, and this visit we chose the Garden Wing on the first floor. I absolutely loved the location—it was quiet, peaceful, and gave us a sense of relaxation while still being just steps away from all the excitement of the resort.

Dining at Steakhouse 71 was a highlight of the trip. The atmosphere was modern yet comfortable, and while everything we tried was excellent, my personal favorite was the seasonal pancakes—a delicious surprise that I would happily go back for again.

One of the biggest perks of staying at the Contemporary is the monorail access. We took full advantage of it, using the monorail to dine at nearby resorts and, of course, to get to Magic Kingdom with ease. The convenience can’t be overstated—it made our stay seamless and stress-free.

Our room was another standout. The theming was exceptional, modern, and fun, while also being incredibly spacious. It quickly became my husband’s favorite Disney room to date, which is saying a lot given how many resorts we’ve experienced!

We also enjoyed plenty of time at the pool area, which features a fantastic waterslide that kept things lively and fun. It’s the perfect balance of relaxation and entertainment, and a great way to cool off after a day in the parks.

From the quiet comfort of the Garden Wing to the unbeatable convenience and amenities, the Contemporary truly lived up to its reputation as a Disney classic.
